ABOUT ME

I am freelance community-based photographer.  I take a great deal of joy and pride in highlighting high school and local sports (community colleges and clubs).  The sports I'm most comfortable with are soccer, basketball and running sports.  I've recently branched out into doing team and media day style photos for fun.  Networking with other local photographers is also great fun and a great way to pick up shooting tips.  I'm happy to connect, share info, and opportunities.

I started taking photos of my kids playing sports to get away from the toxicity of being a competitive sports parents.  I'm lucky enough to work a Sony company, so that made getting gear a little easier.  I coached junior high school sports (soccer, basketball and running) and volunteered to help with high school sports.

I usually use a Sony A7C with a 70-200 GMII lens.

I'm based out of Newark, CA.  I will travel, but I really have to know the team.​
